Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 21 August 2026

These are the terms on which V-Trust sells through vtrustheight.com. They cover how an order is formed, what we promise, what we do not, and what to do when something goes wrong.

They should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Return & Refund Policy, which form part of them.

Using this site means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not place an order.

2Who may buy

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you are ordering for a company or firm, you confirm you are authorised to bind it. We may decline or cancel an order where we reasonably believe these conditions are not met.

3Your account

Keep your password to yourself and your contact details current — a courier calls the number on the order. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used your account.

We may suspend an account used for fraud, for abuse of pricing or promotions, or in a way that damages the site or other customers.

4Products, descriptions and photographs

We describe our hardware as accurately as we can, including dimensions, finish, weight and what is in the box. Sizes are nominal and, where a listing says so, approximate.

Brass is cast and hand-finished. Colour, grain and antique patina vary between pieces, and screens render metal differently. A photograph is a fair representation, not a colour-matched sample. Where a piece is genuinely not as described, that is a defect and our Return & Refund Policy applies.

Listings are an invitation to buy, not an offer. Stock shown as available can sell through before your order is accepted.

5Prices, tax and pricing errors

Prices are in Indian Rupees and, where stated on the product page, inclusive of applicable taxes. A tax invoice is issued for every order. MRP shown struck through is the maximum retail price; the price you pay is the one shown beside it.

Registered trade and dealer accounts may see tiered pricing or quoted rates. Those apply only to the account they were issued to and are not transferable.

Obvious pricing errors. If an item is listed at a price clearly wrong — a decimal place out, or a fraction of its cost — we are not obliged to sell at it. We will contact you, offer the item at the correct price or cancel the order, and refund you in full. We will not simply take payment and quietly cancel.

6How an order is formed

Placing an order is your offer to buy. Our order-confirmation email acknowledges we received it; it does not conclude the contract.

The contract is formed when we despatch the goods, and covers only the items actually despatched. Until then we may decline the order — for example where stock has run out, where a listing was wrongly priced, where the address cannot be served, or where we suspect fraud. If we decline after taking payment, you are refunded in full.

7Payment

Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. Card, UPI, net-banking and wallet details are handled on their systems — V-Trust does not receive or store them.

Where cash on delivery is offered, it may be limited by order value or PIN code, and repeated refusal of COD parcels may lead to it being withdrawn for an account.

8Delivery, timelines and risk

We deliver across India through third-party couriers. Delivery estimates shown at checkout are estimates, not guarantees; they depend on the courier, the destination PIN code, weather and public holidays.

Risk passes to you on delivery — when the parcel is handed to you or to someone at your address who accepts it. Title passes once we have received payment in full.

Please check the parcel on arrival. Visible transit damage should be reported within 48 hours, as set out in the Return & Refund Policy — after that a courier claim can no longer be raised.

9Cancellation, returns and refunds

Orders may be cancelled free of charge before despatch, and returned within 10 days of delivery with return shipping paid by V-Trust. The full terms, including what cannot be returned and how refunds are issued, are in the Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

10Fitness, installation and warranty

Our hardware is sold for ordinary domestic and commercial door and window use. It is your responsibility to check that a piece suits your door thickness, handing and application before fitting it — the dimensions on each listing are there for that.

We strongly recommend professional installation. We are not liable for damage to doors, frames or the hardware itself caused by incorrect fitting, nor for consequential loss arising from it.

Any manufacturer warranty stated on a product page covers manufacturing defects. It does not cover normal wear, tarnishing or patina developing on brass, damage from abrasive or chemical cleaners, corrosion from unsuitable environments, or misuse.

11Intellectual property

The V-Trust name and logo, the designs of our hardware, and the text, photographs and layout of this site belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or use them commercially without written permission. Dealers and partners may use our product imagery to resell our goods, and for that purpose only.

12Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scrape, harvest or bulk-copy the catalogue, prices or images;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, or probe or overload it;
  • place fraudulent or speculative orders, or use another person’s payment method;
  • submit a review that is untrue, that you were paid to write, or that concerns something you have not bought;
  • upload anything unlawful, defamatory, obscene or infringing.

13Disclaimers and limits on liability

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every description is free of mistakes.

To the extent Indian law permits, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, contracts, or the cost of labour to remove or refit hardware.

Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 stand whatever this page says.

14Indemnity

You agree to indemnify V-Trust against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the site, or your infringement of another person’s rights.

15Events outside our control

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control — including natural disasters, fire, flood, epidemic, war, civil unrest, strikes, courier failure, power or network outages, or acts of government. Where such an event materially delays an order, you may cancel it and be refunded in full.

16Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, save that this does not deprive a consumer of the right to approach a consumer forum available to them under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

17Grievance redressal

In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, our Grievance Officer is:

Vakul Rathi — Proprietor
V-Trust, 121, Opp. Thana Sasni Gate, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh – 202001, India
info@vtrustheight.com
+91 73511 11191

Complaints are acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within one month. You may also contact the National Consumer Helpline on 1915.

18Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms. The version in force for your order is the one published when you placed it, so a later change cannot alter a contract already made. The date at the top shows the current version.
